My Study Buddy

Due to some current circumstances, I have been in Pennsylvania for an extended period of time.  I have been working on my qualifying exam at my uncle and aunt's home.  I am most grateful for this since they have the perfect spot for me to do my academicCIMG4242 work.

Molly, their 2-year old yellow lab, has become my #1 cheerleader...or maybe I should say my #1 assistant in procrastinating.  She seems to think that stealing my shoes is an excellent way to help the writing process move forward. I seem to think that stopping and playing with her is another excellent way to move the work forward.  Everyone needs to take a relaxing break every now and then, right?! :)  Do you think you would do any better in resisting that "look"??

I have been reminded how much I love animals.  They are such great therapy and bring joy and laughter into the best and worst days.

And the Countdown is...

Mel - this blog entry is for you, my most faithful and dedicated reader despite my sad lack of blogging activity in the past month!  Have a great day at work!

So the reason I have not been blogging is that life has been filled to capacity and I am dedicating all my extra time to the wonderful activity called "sleep".  It's a busy season, but I will spare you the details!

But I did want to mention one little detail.  J & I will be getting married in only 50 days!  I am, of course, assuming that everyone out there finds this as exciting as we do.

Yes, spring will soon be here.  Even here in cold Boston, the beginnings signs of spring are appearing.  Just the other day I saw my first crocuses!  And the weeping willow trees are beginning to be that lovely tint of pale green.  I have always said I wanted to have a weeping willow tree in my yard someday since it is the first tree to turn green.  Anyway...I really do love this season, independent of the fact that I am getting married during the coming spring!

As to the picture, I have a terrible habit of stealing images off of Google Images.  So please don't spend hours looking at the people trying to find that one familiar face in the crowd!  It was chosen purely for the overall effect.
